This is one of our station based bike sharing systems that has been in service for 5 years. The system consists of bikes, bike docking posts, and an intelligent management box that is compatible with the customer’s self-developed software.
The bike docking post and intelligent management box are installed in a fixed position and the bikes are pushed into the docks for parking and returning, making management convenient and simple.
Station based bike sharing system are suitable for densely populated places so that users can have easy access to transportation. The distance between stations is typically about 500-100 meters to form a transportation network for short trips.
Bikes of the station based bike sharing system feature aluminum alloy frames and a bike drive shaft that does not need any maintenance, effectively reducing operating costs.
According to statistical data of station based bike sharing systems in various cities in China, the running cost is $0.03 per bike per use, which is a very low cost, thus the station based bike sharing system is cost-effective.

2: Bike docking post
Features: stainless steel material, processed with ultraviolet proof automobile standard baking finish that can remain unstained for 5 years in outdoor conditions. Impact absorbing design grants better sturdiness and durability.
Main Specifications: stainless steel case, wall thickness ≥ 2mm.
Lock controlling unit: system with double locks docking station; patented system with rotated gear lock docking station.
Working temperature: -40℃~90℃, working humidity: 93%RH, suitable for extremely cold weather.
Lock is able to lock the bike safely when power is off, which is convenient.
No exposed standard parts, no exposed screws, theftproof design (keyhole unexposed).
The bike docking post is rainproof, dustproof, operates normally in outdoor conditions; waterproof, bike docking post and electronic parts stay undamaged in 50cm-deep water.
Proximity switch is equipped inside the docking station (proximity switch: with built-in circuit and chip, used for seizing the lock to prevent the lock from getting loosen and picked) to prevent bikes from getting stolen.
Every bike docking post is equipped with built-in card reader, billing unit and data-storage unit.
3: Intelligent Management Box
Stainless steel case, wall thickness ≥ 1.2mm.
Working temperature: -40℃~90℃.
Basic functions: billing, inquiry, bike docking post and bike unified monitoring and management; system one-key on/off function; in case of extreme weather, with the system’s centralized remote management function, returning-only (no renting) function can be started by commands in the management center remotely.
Extra information, such as weather report, notice, real-time conditions of near stations, etc. is available for citizens via the intelligent management box.
